Short answer

The flow asks three to five qualifying questions using buttons and list messages, stores the answers as variables, and sends the lead to your CRM with an HTTP request. Based on those answers, a condition decides whether the lead goes straight to sales or gets an informative follow-up.

Why this works

  • You stop losing time on leads that aren't a fit
  • The lead fills in their own details — in WhatsApp, not in a form
  • Answers land straight in your CRM, with the source and the timestamp
  • Response time from hours to seconds, evenings included

The flow, step by step

Example flow · Lead qualification
1
Trigger
The customer taps your WhatsApp link or sends a message
2
Text message
“Glad you reached out! Three quick questions.”
3
List message
What is your inquiry about?
4
Buttons
When would you like to start? — this month · this quarter · later
5
HTTP request
POST the lead to your CRM with every answer
6
Condition
Start date = this month → straight through to sales

Ready-to-use message copy

Take these and adjust them to your own tone of voice. The flow fills in the variables in double curly braces for you.

MessageText
Opening“Glad you reached out! I'll ask three quick questions, then put you through to the right colleague.”
Closing a warm lead“Thanks! {{name}} will call you today. Good of you to be so clear about it.”

What you need

Frequently asked questions

How many questions can I ask before people drop off?

Three to five. Every extra question costs you completions. Ask only what decides whether you want to keep talking, and collect the rest later.

Does the lead end up in my CRM?

Yes, through the HTTP block. HubSpot, Teamleader, and Pipedrive are common; through Make or Zapier almost any CRM works.

Can I send that person marketing messages afterward?

Only with explicit marketing opt-in. Qualifying a lead inside a conversation the customer started is service, and marketing doesn't belong there without separate consent.
